HSBC Enhances Data Partnerships to Support Hong Kong SMEs

HSBC has announced an expansion of its network of trade, cargo, and corporate data providers through the Commercial Data Interchange (CDI) established by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA). This initiative aims to enhance the bank's ability to provide responsive banking services to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Hong Kong as they seek to expand into international markets.

The move is part of HSBC's broader strategy to leverage data partnerships to better serve SMEs, which are vital to the Hong Kong economy. By integrating more data sources, the bank intends to streamline processes and improve access to financial services for these businesses, facilitating their growth and competitiveness on a global scale.
