Binance Introduces Two-Tier System for Earn Products to Enhance User Clarity

Binance has revamped its Earn product offerings by categorizing them into two distinct tiers: 'Earn' for straightforward yield products and 'Advanced Earn' for those with more complex mechanics and higher risk profiles. This change, announced on September 16, aims to provide users with a clearer understanding of the products available, although the underlying mechanics and reward rates remain unchanged.

The update includes standardized product descriptions and uniform risk warnings across the platform, ensuring that all products follow the same template. This allows users to easily identify the risk levels associated with different yield options, helping them discern between stable staking products and those with greater downside exposure. Existing subscriptions will not be affected by this reorganization.

This initiative aligns with Binance's goal of expanding its user base to 3 billion people, as it seeks to attract individuals unfamiliar with yield products and decentralized finance offerings. By simplifying the categorization and presentation of its Earn products, Binance aims to reduce user confusion and potential complaints during market volatility.
