      Bitcoin Life Insurance Company Secures $37.5 Million in Funding

      Meanwhile, a Bitcoin life insurance company, has successfully completed a $37.5 million funding round led by Bain Capital Crypto, with contributions from Haun Ventures, Framework, Pantera Capital, Digital Currents, and Apollo Global. This latest financing brings the company's total capital raised to over $180 million.

      The funds will be utilized to address the growing demand for Bitcoin life insurance among families in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. Meanwhile plans to introduce its BTC Life 1-Pay product for customers outside the United States in early 2026. This innovative offering allows users to pay premiums in Bitcoin as a one-time payment, securing a guaranteed death benefit in Bitcoin for life.

      Additionally, the company has established partnerships with 15 brokers that cater to affluent families in regions including Singapore, Hong Kong, the United Arab Emirates, and Switzerland. Meanwhile anticipates that its premium income will more than double year-on-year in 2026. After the first year of the policy, customers will have the option to borrow up to 90% of the policy value without a repayment plan.
