Bitfinex Reports Significant Increase in Bitcoin Holdings by New Buyers
Cryptocurrency trading platform Bitfinex has reported that since the end of July 2026, new buyers have accumulated approximately 570,000 Bitcoin (BTC). This influx of new holdings comes despite the current sell state of Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs).
The average purchase price for these new buyers stands at around $75,000 per Bitcoin. Bitfinex noted that this average cost has remained consistent even during market pullbacks observed since August 2026. This trend indicates a sustained interest in Bitcoin among new investors, despite fluctuations in the market.
