EIP-8363 co-author announces withdrawal of the proposal from consideration for the Hegotá upgrade
PANews reported on October 1 that Jerome de Tychey, co-author of EIP-8363, announced that the proposal would be withdrawn from consideration for the Hegotá upgrade. He said industry participants, as well as core protocol and client contributors, believe that hard fork scope discussions are not the right place to decide issuance policy changes. The proposal authors plan to continue discussing ETH issuance policy through a separate process to seek broader consensus.
