PANews, October 1 — According to Fortune, Turing Award winner and AMI Labs founder Yann LeCun said in an interview that he believes recent AI agent runaway incidents stem mainly from insufficient human oversight and sandbox design, and can be prevented through engineering improvements. He also revealed that AMI Labs currently has about 60 employees and is developing a world model for industrial applications based on the JEPA architecture, with its first product set to launch "soon."
