Solana Reports Record Monthly App Revenue of $180 Million in September

Solana's applications generated $180 million in revenue during September 2026, marking the highest monthly figure in nine months. This revenue accounted for 32% of the total earnings from blockchain applications, indicating that approximately one-third of all on-chain app revenue was processed through the Solana network.

The month was notable for several record-breaking metrics, including a peak daily app revenue of $7.935 million on September 12, the highest single-day revenue recorded in 2026. This figure surpassed the combined app revenue of major networks such as Ethereum, Robinhood Chain, Hyperliquid L1, and BNB Smart Chain, highlighting Solana's competitive position in the market.

In addition to the revenue surge, Solana also reported 7,699 monthly active programs, the highest count since August 2025. This increase suggests a growing ecosystem as developers respond to the rising demand for applications on the network. Despite the revenue growth, Solana's market share decreased from 38.1% in August to 32% in September, indicating that other blockchain networks are also expanding their presence in the market.
