Ondo Finance Achieves Record $1.26 Billion in Tokenized Stocks' Total Value Locked
Ondo Finance has announced that its tokenized stock platform, Ondo Stocks, has reached a record total value locked (TVL) of $1.26 billion. This milestone comes less than a year after the platform's launch in September 2025, during which it first surpassed the billion-dollar mark on or around August 15, 2026, with a TVL of $1.01 billion.
The platform offers tokenized exposure to U.S. stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs), providing users with total-return exposure that tracks both price movements and returns associated with the underlying assets. Ondo Stocks is primarily aimed at retail and institutional users outside the United States, as American customers are not the current target audience.
In addition to its impressive TVL, Ondo Stocks has seen significant trading activity, with cumulative trading volume exceeding several billion dollars. The platform supports assets across multiple blockchain networks, including Solana, Ethereum, and BNB Chain. Furthermore, a recent regulatory development from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has introduced a five-year innovation exemption for on-chain trading of certain tokenized national market system stocks, potentially enhancing trading opportunities for Ondo and its users.
Executives at Ondo Finance are optimistic about future growth, projecting that TVL could reach $5 billion by the end of 2026, driven by increasing regulatory clarity and rising interest in direct access to global stock markets.
