OKX Money Expands Global Reach and Introduces AI Support for Transactions
At the OKX NOW Global Product and Ecosystem Conference held in Singapore, the OKX Pay team announced that its stablecoin application, OKX Money, is now operational in over 30 countries. This application is designed primarily for non-traders and users who are not familiar with cryptocurrency. A demonstration showcased a transfer from Singapore to Venezuela that was completed in mere seconds, highlighting the application's efficiency in cross-border transactions.
OKX Money utilizes self-custodial smart accounts and operates on the X Layer wallet network. A new feature called Pay Boost, which has been launched for users in Europe, allows for continuous interest accrual on funds. This feature deducts directly from the interest-bearing balance during transactions, while the remaining funds continue to earn interest.
In a forward-looking move, the OKX Pay team revealed plans to enable AI agents to assist users in creating investment strategies and executing small transactions within the OKX Money platform, contingent upon user authorization. This integration aims to enhance the user experience by leveraging artificial intelligence for financial management.
