Remixpoint Exits Altcoin Market, Consolidates Holdings in Bitcoin

Remixpoint Inc., a company listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, has completely liquidated its holdings in altcoins, including Ethereum, Solana, XRP, and Dogecoin, generating approximately ¥878.81 million, or about $5.5 million. The sale, which took place on September 1, 2026, was executed without distress, resulting in a realized net profit of around ¥117.78 million, equivalent to $736,800.

The liquidation involved the sale of 901.45 ETH, 13,920.07 SOL, 1,191,204.80 XRP, and 2,802,312 DOGE. The company plans to utilize the proceeds as business segment revenue for the second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2027, directing the funds towards growth initiatives, particularly in grid-scale energy storage projects.

Following this strategic move, Remixpoint now holds approximately 1,506 BTC, having gradually accumulated Bitcoin since 2025. The company has also been generating income through Bitcoin lending operations, earning 14.92 BTC in fees valued at ¥164.22 million between February and August 2026. This shift to a Bitcoin-only policy aligns with a broader trend among corporations, notably influenced by MicroStrategy's adoption of Bitcoin as a primary reserve asset.
