Saylor: Bitcoin treasury companies like Strategy and Strive can jointly drive the digital credit market

PANews, September 30 — Strategy founder Michael Saylor stated that Bitcoin treasury companies such as Strategy and Strive, while each issuing securities and competing for investor capital, are not engaged in a purely zero-sum competition. He believes that more well-managed issuers entering the market can help attract new capital, improve investors' understanding of "digital credit" products, and enhance liquidity, thereby potentially lowering financing costs for qualified issuers. Saylor noted that Strive disclosed in March this year that it had purchased $50 million of STRC issued by Strategy, as an example of industry companies also becoming each other's customers. He also emphasized that Bitcoin appreciation, lower financing costs, and higher equity valuations are not guaranteed, and related products still carry price, liquidity, and financing risks.
