TheDAO Security Fund launches second round, $600,000 to fund Vyper compiler
PANews reported on September 30, citing CryptoBriefing, that the second round of funding under TheDAO Security Fund's ETHSecurity Initiatives has been launched, allocating $600,000 for formal verification of the Vyper compiler. Vyper is the smart contract language used by protocols such as Curve, Yearn, and Lido. The fund originates from unclaimed ETH from the 2016 DAO incident converted into staking funds, and the Ethereum Foundation has publicly expressed its support.
