Uniswap Integrates AnchoredFi’s Tokenized Stocks on Arbitrum

Anchored Finance has launched tokenized versions of traditional stocks on Uniswap’s decentralized exchange, utilizing the Arbitrum Layer-2 network as its primary platform. The integration, which became operational on August 24, features ten fully backed tokenized equities, each corresponding to shares held by US regulated brokers and custodians.

The tokenized stocks are issued as ERC-20 tokens, with liquidity routed through UniswapX, an order-routing protocol designed to optimize trade execution. Settlements for these transactions occur in USDC, and Anchored has implemented on-chain issuance workflows to ensure a transparent and verifiable process for the creation and redemption of tokenized shares.

In addition to Arbitrum, Anchored has also launched its tokenized equities on Ethereum mainnet, Base, and Monad, expanding its reach across four different networks. This multi-chain deployment aims to enhance visibility and accessibility for traders, while the 1:1 backing model with regulated custody addresses concerns regarding trust in tokenized assets.
