Bitcoin Price Faces Downward Pressure as Sellers Gain Control

Bitcoin has experienced fluctuations in recent days, attempting to surpass the upper swing area between $85,578 and $87,374. The highest price recorded on Friday was $87,144, followed by a slightly lower peak of $86,969 on Monday, and a further decline to $86,677 yesterday. These progressively lower highs indicate a loss of momentum among buyers, who were unable to maintain upward pressure on the cryptocurrency's price.

The situation shifted dramatically when Bitcoin broke below both the 100-hour and 200-hour moving averages, signaling a change in short-term market dynamics in favor of sellers. This downward movement accelerated, bringing the price down to $82,734, which is situated within the next swing area defined between $81,517 and $82,833. The breach of these moving averages has given sellers a significant advantage, although they face the challenge of pushing through the swing area to solidify their control.

For buyers, the immediate focus is on maintaining support within the swing area. If they can hold above $81,517 and reclaim levels above $82,833, there is potential for a recovery. Conversely, a sustained drop below $81,517 would likely reinforce the bearish sentiment and open the door for further declines. As the market continues to evolve, traders are reminded that failed resistance attempts can become significant when support levels are breached.
