Bitdeer AI Signs Agreement for 60 MW Data Center in Malaysia

Bitdeer AI, a subsidiary of the Bitcoin mining company Bitdeer, has finalized an eight-year agreement to establish a 60 megawatt (MW) AI cloud data center in Cyberjaya, Malaysia. The new facility, designated as A103, is anticipated to commence operations in the first quarter of 2028. This development will complement the existing A101 and A102 data centers at the Cyberjaya campus, raising the total capacity to approximately 71.5 MW.

With this agreement, Bitdeer AI has successfully secured 333.5 MW of its global capacity target of 350 MW, achieving about 95% of its goal. The company's AI cloud business projects are projected to exceed $10 billion in scale, indicating significant growth in the sector. This expansion reflects the increasing demand for AI and cloud computing services in the cryptocurrency industry.
