Brokerage service provider DriveWealth to use Ripple's RLUSD for stablecoin settlement and cross-border payments
PANews, October 14 – According to The Block, brokerage service provider DriveWealth has partnered with Ripple to integrate its stablecoin settlement, cross-border payments, and digital asset custody services into its own brokerage platform. The two parties will first launch settlement operations in Europe and plan to expand the service scope to the United States.
The integration will use Ripple's RLUSD stablecoin on the XRP Ledger, enabling DriveWealth clients to fund and manage collateral accounts using a stablecoin that can be converted to fiat nearly in real time; at the same time, the two parties are also exploring equity financing opportunities through Ripple Prime.
