EQX to Launch 11 Tokenized Stock and ETF Markets on Hyperliquid
EQX has announced plans to establish 11 markets for tokenized stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) on the Hyperliquid platform. These markets will allow trading of share-backed tokens, which will be paired with USDC, a stablecoin pegged to the US dollar.
The initiative aims to expand the accessibility of financial instruments through decentralized finance (DeFi) while adhering to specific eligibility rules that exclude participation from individuals based in the United States. This move reflects a growing trend in the financial sector to integrate blockchain technology with traditional investment vehicles.
Hyperliquid, known for its innovative trading solutions, will serve as the platform for these new markets, potentially attracting a diverse range of investors interested in tokenized assets. The launch is part of EQX's broader strategy to enhance liquidity and trading efficiency in the DeFi space.
