OpenWorld, Inc. Announces Plans to Acquire Blocksight Holdings Co.
On October 1, 2026, OpenWorld, Inc., a company listed on the Nasdaq under the ticker OPNW, revealed its intention to acquire Blocksight Holdings Co. during an event in Las Vegas. The acquisition is pending final approval from OpenWorld's board and the completion of necessary documentation, although the company has indicated that there is no guarantee the transaction will be finalized.
Blocksight specializes in developing an artificial intelligence platform designed to facilitate the integration of real-world assets onto blockchain technology. OpenWorld's co-founder and CEO, Matthew Shaw, emphasized that this acquisition represents a significant milestone for the company as it transitions into a publicly listed entity, potentially bolstering its foundation for a tokenized asset platform aimed at institutional investors.
