      Reap launches Virtual Asset Ledger for direct spending, enabling card payments directly from BTC balances

      PANews, September 23 – According to official sources, Reap, a payments company under Payward, the parent company of Kraken, has launched a Virtual Asset Ledger. Users of exchanges, wallets, neobanks, and fintech platforms can directly use their virtual asset balances such as BTC to spend via Visa cards issued by Reap, with conversion completed at real-time exchange rates at the time of payment, without the need to pre-convert to stablecoins. Reap data shows that card spending paid with virtual assets reached $1.04 billion in July 2026.
