Starknet Foundation Introduces Bramble, a Privacy-Focused Self-Custody Wallet

The Starknet Foundation has officially launched Bramble, a self-custodial wallet designed for users of the Starknet blockchain. The wallet, which went live on October 20, 2026, allows users to swap, store, and shield their cryptocurrency assets while maintaining control over their private keys.

Bramble's standout feature is its support for STRK20, a privacy framework that enables users to keep private balances on the Starknet network. The wallet integrates with Starknet's on-chain privacy tools, allowing users to shield public tokens and conduct private transfers directly from the wallet interface. Additionally, Bramble supports Ledger hardware wallets, enhancing security by requiring a physical device for transaction signing.

The wallet also includes features such as multisig accounts, which necessitate approval from multiple keys for fund transfers, as well as encrypted local vaults and customizable spending allowances. Bramble is available as a Chrome extension, with the current version listed as 0.10.5 following a minor update earlier this month. The beta version was released on October 12, 2026, with public teasers preceding the official launch.
