X Sued Bitcoin Influencers Over an Alleged £207,000 Scheme

• X accused two users and the operators of their associated accounts of engagement manipulation.
• According to the company, the scheme generated at least £207,384 through the monetization program.
• The platform also estimated the costs of investigating and remediating the fallout at a minimum of £75,000.

X Internet Unlimited Company and X Corp. filed a lawsuit against Vivek Kumar Sen, Zamyang Sherpa, and a number of unidentified individuals. The company claims the defendants ran a network of accounts that artificially inflated engagement metrics to collect payouts under the Creator Revenue Sharing program.

The case was filed with the High Court of England and Wales on September 17, 2026. According to the document, the users allegedly posted identical or similar content, liked and reposted each other’s posts, and created the appearance of organic activity. X says the participants also used multiple financial accounts and related technical identifiers.

The filings cite six primary accounts — @Vivek4real_, @Bitcoin_Teddy, @saylordocs, @TrendingBitcoin, @Kalshibacktest, and @PolyBackTest. In particular, the company pointed to matches across devices, software clients, cookies, and other identifiers that, it alleges, linked the profiles to one another.

X said it paid at least £207,384 to participants in the alleged scheme. The largest payout cited in the complaint was £74,332 and was tied to the @Vivek4real_ account. The company also paid about £50,065 through monetization to @Bitcoin_Teddy, and £49,442 to @saylordocs.

In addition to recovering the funds, X is seeking damages, interest, and legal costs. The company preliminarily estimated its expenses for the investigation, analysis, and measures to prevent similar violations at no less than £75,000. As a result, the claimed losses and additional costs exceed £282,000.
