Bitcoin (BTC) ETFs See Almost $1 Billion in Single-Day Inflows — Major Players Revealed
Key Highlights
- Spot Bitcoin ETFs in the United States attracted $998.95 million in net inflows on Monday, marking the largest single day of 2026
- The inflow represents the ninth-highest daily total since these ETFs debuted on January 11, 2024
- IBIT from BlackRock topped the list with $381 million, while ARK’s ARKB brought in $289 million and Fidelity’s FBTC added $239 million
- Bitcoin’s price momentarily surpassed $87,200 on Monday before stabilizing near $85,430, reflecting a 4.7% gain over 24 hours
- According to CryptoQuant analyst Julio Moreno, Bitcoin surpassed its 365-day moving average, a signal he interprets as confirming a fresh bull market cycle
Spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds in the United States experienced an influx of almost $1 billion on Monday, representing the strongest single-day performance of 2026 and ranking as the ninth-largest inflow day since these investment vehicles launched in early 2024.
Data from SoSoValue indicates the funds captured $998.95 million in net inflows. This figure surpasses the prior 2026 high of $844 million recorded on January 14.
The Monday inflow also represents the strongest daily performance since October 6, 2025, when Bitcoin reached its all-time peak of approximately $126,200.
BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) dominated the inflows with $381 million. The ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF (ARKB) secured the second position with $289 million, while Fidelity’s Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) contributed $239 million, based on data from Farside Investors.
At the time of writing, Bitcoin was changing hands at $85,430, representing a 4.7% increase over the previous 24 hours and a 12.3% gain across the past month. The cryptocurrency momentarily pushed above $87,200 during Monday’s trading session, CoinGecko data shows.

Julio Moreno, an analyst at CryptoQuant, highlighted that Bitcoin climbed above its 365-day moving average on Monday. He characterized this technical milestone as the concluding indicator required to validate a new bull market phase for the digital asset.
Three Consecutive Days of Positive Flows
The Monday inflow represented the first three-day positive streak for spot Bitcoin ETFs in a fortnight. This momentum developed shortly after Bitcoin experienced downward pressure following a failed Senate cloture vote on the Clarity Act and an interest rate hike by the Federal Reserve.
Month-to-date inflows have now reached $1.31 billion, coming on the heels of August’s $3.52 billion total. Bitcoin has delivered a 44% gain this quarter, surpassing gold and other significant asset classes in performance.
Annual Performance Remains Negative
While recent momentum has been strong, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs continue to show negative flows for the 2026 calendar year as a whole. Year-to-date net outflows range between approximately $450 million and $464 million, varying by data provider.
Although Monday’s substantial inflow moves the year-to-date balance closer to neutral territory, it has not yet pushed the annual total into positive ground.
Spot Ether ETFs similarly experienced a robust Monday, attracting roughly $270 million, representing their largest daily inflow of 2026. Meanwhile, U.S. spot XRP ETFs reported zero net flows, with total cumulative inflows remaining at approximately $1.71 billion.
