BofA Increases Coinbase Price Target to $203 Amid Stronger Stablecoin Revenue Expectations

Bank of America (BofA) has raised its price target for Coinbase, a major cryptocurrency exchange, from $174 to $203. The bank has maintained a 'Buy' rating on the stock, reflecting confidence in the company's future performance.

The adjustment comes as BofA revised its earnings per share (EPS) forecasts for 2027 and 2028, anticipating increased revenue from stablecoin transactions following a recent interest rate hike by the Federal Reserve in September. However, the bank has also reduced its near-term estimates due to a decline in crypto trading volumes, despite significant price increases for Bitcoin and Ethereum, which surged by 43% and 70% respectively in the third quarter of 2026.
