Arbitrum Community Proposes Adding USDG to Core Strategic Plan with Additional 100M ARB Incentives

PANews reported on October 19 that, according to the Arbitrum governance forum, Entropy has initiated a temperature check vote proposing to include USDG, a stablecoin issued by Paxos, in the ArbitrumDAO core strategic plan. Specific measures include: allocating an additional 100 million ARB from the DAO treasury to the DeFi incentive program DRIP, adjusting incentive cycles, expanding the scope of application, and extending the duration; transferring net fee revenue from the Arbitrum Expansion Program (AEP) to the Arbitrum Treasury Management Committee (ATMC) to be converted into USDG, and allowing the ATMC to deploy assets to support USDG growth; and confirming the USDG program as a special project within Entropy's existing scope of work. The off-chain intent vote will end on October 22.
