US Government's Cryptocurrency Holdings Decline by $16 Billion
Ethereum's 24-hour trading volume overtakes Bitcoin, market speculates link to PaperTrade
PANews reported on October 11, citing Hyperliquid News, that ETH's trading volume over the past 24 hours has surpassed BTC, reaching approximately $1.1 billion. Analysts believe this increase in ETH trading volume may be related to PaperTrade's recent suspected mechanism exploitation incident, and the related trading activity may have driven up demand in the ETH market.
In previous news, crypto trader Rune stated on X that PaperTrade's official documentation had actually already disclosed the "attack" risk in its pricing mechanism, noting that the main risk at the protocol level lies in price manipulation using the BBO (Best Bid and Offer) of Hyperliquid's order book, a risk involving unresolved price manipulation paths, contract economic mechanisms and exposure control, as well as operational safeguards and permission management mechanisms.
