Falcon Finance's USDf Leads Stablecoin Growth with $64.6 Million Increase
Falcon Finance's USDf stablecoin experienced a significant increase in market capitalization, adding $64.6 million during the week ending October 19, 2026. This growth marks the largest gain among stablecoin issuers for the week, surpassing the combined growth of its competitors, Open Standard and United Stables, which added $36.1 million and $23.3 million, respectively.
The performance of USDf has been notable, with its circulating supply estimated between $1.72 billion and $1.83 billion in mid-to-late October 2026. Some market trackers reported a remarkable 30-day growth rate of over 38%, with one figure reaching as high as 38.6%. Earlier in October, USDf recorded a single-day increase of $74.4 million, indicating strong momentum for the stablecoin.
Falcon Finance, which launched USDf in early 2025, has quickly risen to prominence, achieving a top-15 market cap status within months. The company has strategic backing from DWF Labs, a crypto market maker and investment firm, and has introduced innovative features such as sUSDf, a yield-bearing version of the stablecoin. Additionally, Falcon has integrated KGST, a stablecoin backed by the government of Kyrgyzstan, as collateral, showcasing its unique approach to stablecoin issuance.
