Stargate Finance to Cease Support for Four Blockchains on October 23, 2026
Stargate Finance will discontinue support for the Gravity Alpha Mainnet, Camp, GOAT Network, and Metis Andromeda blockchains through its v2 platform on October 23, 2026. This decision is part of a broader initiative by LayerZero Labs to phase out off-chain infrastructure services on networks exhibiting low activity. Users with liquidity in Stargate pools on these chains are advised to withdraw or bridge their assets before the deadline to avoid losing access to their funds.
Following the October 23 cutoff for Stargate v2 users, LayerZero will also terminate its default Decentralized Validator Network (DVN) and Executor services for the same blockchains on October 30, 2026. Developers utilizing these services must transition to new configurations by this date to ensure their applications continue to function properly. The official bridges between Ethereum and Metis will remain operational, providing some users with continued access to their assets.
This move is not unprecedented, as Stargate and LayerZero have previously reduced support for other networks earlier in 2026, including Aurora, Gnosis, and Taiko. Additionally, all Stargate v1 pools are scheduled to shut down across all chains on December 15, 2026, marking a significant reduction in the services offered by Stargate Finance.
