Grayscale's ZCSH ETF Boosts Zcash Holdings by 28% to Nearly 600,000 ZEC

Grayscale's ZCSH ETF has increased its Zcash holdings by 28.4% to 596,269 ZEC, representing approximately 3.52% of the total circulating supply of the privacy-focused cryptocurrency. This growth occurred within weeks of the ETF's launch on August 25, 2026, and was driven entirely by in-kind transfers rather than open market purchases.

The fund, which trades on NYSE Arca, saw significant contributions from DCG International Investments Ltd., the parent company of Grayscale, which deposited around 85,705 ZEC valued at approximately $100 million on September 8. In total, ZCSH attracted over $70 million in inflows during its first two weeks of trading, with additional contributions pushing its estimated assets under management to between $876 million and $914 million by mid-September.

ZCSH is currently the only listed spot exchange-traded product providing direct exposure to Zcash on a U.S. exchange. The fund converted from Grayscale's existing Zcash Trust, which had an initial asset under management of about $304 million at launch. Grayscale also announced a 3-for-1 forward share split scheduled for September 28, 2026, aimed at making the ETF more accessible to smaller investors.
