Aptos proposal aims to enable encrypted transaction pool to reduce front-running risk, vote has not yet reached threshold
PANews reported on October 5 that Aptos governance proposal #206 is currently being voted on, aiming to enable the full mode of ChunkyDKG V1 and the encrypted_transactions feature. According to the design of AIP-144, users can choose to encrypt transaction content before submitting transactions, and validators will collaboratively decrypt after consensus determines transaction ordering, in order to reduce MEV risks such as front-running. Voting will end on October 6. The Aptos governance page shows that the current yes votes are approximately 32.586 million APT, which has not yet reached the voting threshold of 300 million APT. The proposal is still in the voting stage and has not been officially passed.
