Robinhood Chain Achieves Over $88 Million in Tokenized Value Shortly After Launch
Robinhood Chain has surpassed $88 million in total tokenized value just weeks after launching its public mainnet on July 1, 2026. This figure, tracked by Entropy Advisors and Arbdata, reflects the growing traction of the Arbitrum-based Layer-2 network in the real-world asset (RWA) market, a notable achievement for a network that is still in its early stages.
The total tokenized value represents the market value of real-world assets converted into ERC-20 tokens on the chain. Robinhood Chain focuses on tokenized equities, where stock tokens are backed 1:1 by underlying shares held in custody, distinguishing them from direct equity ownership. Since its launch, the market value of tokenized equities on the chain has increased significantly, reaching approximately $70 million by late July 2026, with daily trading volumes for top assets ranging from $500,000 to $26 million.
The number of RWA holders on Robinhood Chain has also seen rapid growth, with estimates ranging from 328,000 to 420,000 within weeks of the mainnet launch. This surge in user engagement is attributed to the chain's ability to facilitate 24/7 on-chain trading and self-custody of tokenized assets, enhancing Robinhood's brokerage model within the decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem. The chain's early adoption rates have already outpaced those of more established networks in the tokenized asset space, indicating a strong interest in its offerings.
Despite these promising developments, the tokenized equity structures present legal complexities and risks, including counterparty and custody risks that differ from traditional equity ownership. Additionally, the regulatory landscape for these instruments remains uncertain across various jurisdictions, prompting caution among potential investors.
