Strategy Increases Bitcoin Holdings to 848,000 BTC with Recent Purchase

Strategy has acquired 334 Bitcoin for $28.7 million in a recent transaction completed by October 4, 2026. This purchase has raised the company's total Bitcoin holdings to 848,000 BTC, reflecting a significant investment in the cryptocurrency market.

To finance this acquisition, Strategy utilized $15.7 million from net proceeds generated through sales of its MSTR stock, along with $13 million in cash reserves. The total investment in Bitcoin now amounts to $63.97 billion, with an average purchase price of approximately $75,440.70 per Bitcoin.

In addition to its Bitcoin purchases, Strategy repurchased 740,634 shares of its STRC stock for $73.7 million during the same period. As of October 4, the company reported having $4.88 billion in its USD Reserve and $833.4 million in USD Cash. This strategic move may enhance Strategy's influence in the cryptocurrency market while also increasing its exposure to the inherent volatility associated with digital assets.
