UBS Group Expands Digital Assets Team in New York

UBS Group has announced the hiring of two key positions focused on digital assets in New York, reflecting the bank's commitment to expanding its presence in this emerging sector. The new roles include an Investment Banking Digital Assets Product Manager and a Digital Assets Distribution Manager, both of which are integral to the bank's strategy in tokenization and distributed ledger technology (DLT).

The Investment Banking Digital Assets Product Manager will oversee the promotion of tokenized products, stablecoins, and settlement infrastructure, as well as custody solutions. This position offers a base salary between $225,000 and $242,500. Meanwhile, the Digital Assets Distribution Manager will focus on the distribution of tokenized money market funds and structured products, targeting fintech companies, neobanks, brokerages, and digital wealth management platforms, with a salary range of $164,000 to $211,000.

These appointments come as financial institutions increasingly explore the potential of digital assets, signaling a growing trend towards integrating blockchain technology and tokenization into traditional banking services. UBS's strategic hires aim to enhance its capabilities in this rapidly evolving market.
