Bitget CEO Addresses Security Concerns Following Platform Attack

Gracy Chen, the CEO of Bitget, announced during a live broadcast that some of the funds stolen during a recent attack on the cryptocurrency exchange may be recoverable. She emphasized the importance of a thorough investigation into the incident before any actions are taken regarding the platform's operations.

Chen stated that Bitget's technical team is actively working on repairing the system and enhancing security measures. The platform will only resume withdrawals once it is confident that the system is secure enough to prevent further attacks by hackers. She highlighted the necessity of ensuring user safety before making any commitments to restore services.

While Chen acknowledged the urgency of the situation, she refrained from providing a specific timeline for when withdrawals might resume. She assured users that they would be promptly informed once a clear plan is established, stressing that the platform aims to avoid making promises that cannot be kept.
