Block Integrates Bitcoin Lightning into x402 Standard
Block has successfully merged the Bitcoin Lightning payment specification into the x402 standard repository. This integration aims to enhance the efficiency and speed of Bitcoin transactions, leveraging the capabilities of the Lightning Network.
While the specification has been incorporated, a Python implementation of the Lightning payment system is still pending review and requires real-node testing before it can be fully operational. This step is crucial for ensuring the reliability and functionality of the integration in practical applications.
