Cobo Wallet App to Shut Down on December 1, Charging 2% Monthly Management Fee on Assets Not Withdrawn by Deadline

PANews reported on October 16 that, according to an official Cobo announcement, due to a strategic business adjustment, the Cobo Wallet App will cease services on December 1, 2026 (UTC+8), and users must withdraw all assets before 23:59 on November 30. Cobo's other businesses will continue to operate as usual. If assets remain in an account after the shutdown, Cobo will charge a monthly management fee of 2% of the remaining assets, deducted in the original currency, with a minimum of $100 equivalent per month; if the total asset value is less than $100, the entire balance will be deducted in one lump sum. The first charge will occur on January 1, 2027. Cobo reminds users to replace any Cobo Wallet deposit addresses set on exchanges, mining pools, and other platforms.
