Micron and Taiwan Micron Memory Union Agree to Further Mediation Talks

Micron Technology, a major semiconductor manufacturer, and the Taiwan Micron Memory Union have concluded their first mediation meeting on September 18, 2026. Both parties reported that the discussions were constructive and have agreed to reconvene for a second mediation session on October 22, 2026. The meeting addressed various topics, including the overall compensation and bonus system framework, as well as issues related to non-retaliation and the principle of 'No Free Rider'.

During the mediation, Micron reiterated its commitment to the rights of its employees as outlined in the Micron Global Team Member Handbook. This includes the right to peacefully assemble, freely associate, and form or join unions without fear of retaliation. Micron expressed appreciation for the support provided by the Central Science Park Administration and the mediation committee throughout the process.

Looking ahead, both Micron and the Taiwan Micron Memory Union aim to maintain a spirit of mutual respect and collaboration. They are focused on supporting employees, serving customers, and fostering the company's success through positive and pragmatic communication.
