NEAR Co-founder: NEAR Intents and near.com Back Online, Exploit Impact Limited to USDT on BSC
PANews, October 1 - NEAR co-founder Illia Polosukhin said NEAR Intents and near.com are back online, though a few affected networks remain restricted. The roughly $3.8 million attack exploited a vulnerability in the interaction between Omni's deposit/withdrawal infrastructure and the NEAR Intents smart contract, with impact limited to USDT on BSC. The NEAR core protocol, NEAR token, and other applications were unaffected, and affected users will be fully compensated.
