StratEx Finance Shuts Down Operations, Users Urged to Withdraw Funds
StratEx Finance, a decentralized finance (DeFi) yield optimization platform, announced on September 17, 2026, that it is ceasing operations. The platform, which combined decentralized finance with artificial intelligence, instructed liquidity providers using its QuickSwap vaults to withdraw their assets immediately, stating that the vaults would no longer receive incentives or maintenance.
The shutdown follows a prior advisory from QuickSwap on July 30, 2026, which indicated that StratEx would end support for its vaults. StratEx offered various one-click vault products, including StratUSD, StratBTC, and StratETH, designed to simplify the yield farming process for users by automating liquidity routing across protocols to optimize returns.
StratEx's integration with QuickSwap began in late August 2025, with discussions about a potential investment by QuickSwap's decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) taking place as early as April 2025. However, it remains unclear whether any investment was finalized. The recent shutdown announcement did not provide any details regarding the reasons for the closure, such as funding issues, technical difficulties, or regulatory concerns, leaving users and observers without clarity on the situation.
