Chainlink Announces 40 New Integrations in September 2026

Chainlink has reported 40 new integrations across 24 distinct users in September 2026, as announced on October 7. Notable participants in this expansion include prominent names such as Aave, Coinbase, Paxos, Bottomline Pay, Infosys, Monad, and Arc, representing a diverse range of sectors from decentralized finance (DeFi) to traditional IT services.

The integrations encompass several of Chainlink's offerings, including the Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP), Data Feeds, and the Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE). CCIP facilitates the transfer of tokens and messages across different blockchains, while Data Feeds provide essential external information to smart contracts. The CRE serves as a development environment for applications utilizing Chainlink's services.

The month saw a steady increase in integrations, with 16 reported by September 20 and an additional 14 by September 27. The launch of CCIP 2.0 on September 28 introduced enhanced security and compliance features aimed at institutional clients, including custom cross-chain verifiers.

Chainlink claims that CCIP has secured over $84 billion in cross-chain token value and facilitated cumulative transaction values exceeding $34–36 trillion. The participation of traditional firms like Infosys and Bottomline Pay alongside established crypto entities suggests a growing interest in integrating public blockchain infrastructure within traditional finance.
