Pons Achieves $6 Billion in Trading Volume on Uniswap v4
Pons, a non-custodial token launchpad operating exclusively on Robinhood Chain, has surpassed $6 billion in cumulative trading volume through its Uniswap v4 hook pools. This milestone was announced on October 7, 2026, just under three months after the platform's launch on July 13, 2026.
The Pons platform utilizes a unique model where tokens remain on a bonding curve until they reach a threshold of approximately 4.2 ETH equivalent, at which point they 'graduate' to a full-range liquidity position on Uniswap v4. This position is permanently locked, preventing the common issue of early meme tokens losing value due to liquidity withdrawal. The reported $6 billion figure reflects trading activity in these graduated pools, excluding transactions on the bonding curves.
Pons operates its graduated pools through a mechanism known as PonsV2MemeHook, which manages swaps post-graduation and allocates fees primarily to token creators, who receive about 70% of the earnings. In early September 2026, Robinhood Chain accounted for a significant portion of Uniswap's trading volume, demonstrating its growing influence in the decentralized finance space. Additionally, Uniswap Labs made a strategic investment in $PONS tokens, signaling a commitment to the project and its future developments.
