Tactile Sensor Companies Secure Significant Funding as PaxiNi Moves Toward IPO

In 2025, the domestic tactile sensor sector in China experienced approximately 20 financing rounds, raising nearly 1.8 billion yuan. The trend has continued into 2026, with 15 financing rounds completed in the humanoid robot sensor field within the first seven months, totaling 3.1 billion yuan. Notably, July alone accounted for 1.56 billion yuan of this amount, indicating a robust interest in tactile sensor technology.

PaxiNi, a tactile sensor company founded in June 2021 in Shenzhen by Xu Jincheng and Nie Xiangru, has been at the forefront of this funding wave. The company has raised over 4 billion yuan in total financing, including 1 billion yuan in Series B financing in March, followed by additional strategic financing rounds. PaxiNi's Hall array sensor, the PX-6AX GEN3, is priced starting at 199 yuan. On September 20, 2026, PaxiNi completed its counseling filing with the Beijing Securities Regulatory Bureau, with Guotai Junan serving as the counseling institution, marking a significant step toward its initial public offering (IPO).

Other companies in the tactile sensor space are also making strides. Tashan Technology, founded in December 2017, reported revenues exceeding 100 million yuan in 2024 and has been recognized by NVIDIA as the first tactile simulation partner for Isaac Sim. Meanwhile, Qianjue Robotics, established in May 2024, has secured several hundred million yuan in strategic financing led by Hillhouse Capital. Additional firms such as Daimeng, Weitai, Xiangmuguo, Yimu Technology, and Lingxin Qiaoshou have also successfully raised funds or achieved higher valuations in 2026, reflecting the growing demand and investment in tactile sensor technology.
