Notion Enhances AI Capabilities with New Features and Upgrades
Notion has announced significant upgrades to its AI features, allowing the Notion Agent to operate on standalone computers and web browsers. This enhancement improves context management and introduces a new 'Review for me' mode, which includes security checks and enables tasks to run continuously for up to 24 hours.
The upgraded Auto model routing is designed to optimize the balance between quality, speed, and cost for various tasks. Notion reports that its AI capabilities have achieved results comparable to Opus 5.5 and Astra across more than 20 common tasks, with an average cost reduction of approximately 90%.
Additionally, Notion now supports personal Agents that can connect to existing ChatGPT subscriptions. Enterprises are invited to participate in private Alpha testing, which includes built-in API key functionality. The launch of Notion MCP memory synchronization has also been announced, with plans for a feature that allows skill usage through MCP to be available soon. A new unified points system will incorporate AI usage, while an upcoming AI Command Center will offer tools for usage tracking, spending limits, reminders, and management of model and Agent permissions.
