Bitget Expands Institutional-Grade Custody and Off-Exchange Settlement Infrastructure, Supporting Diverse Custody and Settlement Models
PANews, October 9 – As the institutional market gradually moves toward a model that separates custody from trading, Bitget is continuing to expand its open custody and off-exchange settlement infrastructure for institutional clients, offering institutions more flexible options for asset custody, capital management, and trading access.
Bitget has now established partnerships with institutions including Copper ClearLoop, Cactus Custody Oasis, Fireblocks Off Exchange, OSL MirrorEX, Bitfire PrimeMirror, and Sygnum Protect, meeting the differentiated needs of various types of institutions in areas such as asset segregation, custody options, settlement efficiency, and liquidity access through diversified custody and settlement models.
Bitget CEO Gracy Chen said: "Different types of institutions have different needs when it comes to custody, settlement, and capital management. Through open and compatible infrastructure, Bitget hopes to enable institutions to choose custody and settlement solutions that suit their own operating models, achieving asset risk segregation while improving capital efficiency and liquidity access capabilities."
This expansion is also an important part of Bitget's UEX strategy. Institutional services will remain a strategic priority, providing institutions with more asset management and trading access options through an open and scalable custody and settlement network, further improving capital efficiency across different assets and markets, and accelerating the convergence of crypto assets and tokenized traditional financial infrastructure.
