Robinhood Chain Reports Significant Revenue Decline Amid Increased Activity
Robinhood Chain has experienced a dramatic decline in daily revenue, which has fallen by 87% from its peak, now standing at $1.06 million. This drop, reported on September 4, is not attributed to a decrease in user activity but rather to an increase in network capacity that has led to reduced congestion fees.
Despite the revenue downturn, trading activity on the decentralized exchange (DEX) remains robust. During the same timeframe, DEX trading volume approached $2 billion, and the number of active addresses on the platform increased by 16.5%. This suggests that while revenue has decreased, user engagement and trading activity have not diminished.
